Experience

40+

Clinical Competencies

I have completed 40+ clinical competencies on linear accelerators as well as in CT simulation.

24

Clinical Rotations

Over the course of 5 semesters in the radiation therapy program at The Ohio State University, I have rotated to 7 different radiation oncology departments in entral Ohio and completed a total of 24 clinical rotations, each lasting 3 weeks.

1,636

Logged Clinical Hours

Every day for 5 semesters, my days have been spent in both class and clinical. For two semesters, we had full days of clinical twice a week. All of that time adds up to a confident and competent radiation therapist.

5

Specialty Rotations

These specialty rotations include dosimetry, nursing, brachytherapy, a paired student rotation and a stereotactic rotation. These rotations are incredibly insightful as it gives a glimpse into how other occupations operate within a radiation oncology department and allow us to see and learn things such as an IORT procedure or a patient consult that you would never see while working at a vault.
